Bundesweiter Ausbruch invasiver Listeriose in Deutschland
Zusammenhang mit Fleischprodukten bestätigt
Bundesbehörden warnen vor dem Verzehr belasteter Produkte
Am Bundesamt für Verbraucherschutz und Lebensmittelsicherheit (BVL) gingen mehrere Meldungen über invasive Listeriose-Erkrankungen ein. Die Bundesländer und das BVL warnen daher vor dem Verzehr von Fleischprodukten, die Listerien enthalten könnten.
Nach ersten Untersuchungen steht der Ausbruch im Zusammenhang mit Fleischprodukten aus einem norddeutschen Betrieb. Die betroffenen Produkte wurden bereits zurückgerufen. Eine Fortführung des Berichts aus dem Januar 2021, der sich mit 22 Fällen invasiver Listeriose befasste, wird in Kürze veröffentlicht.
Die Europäische Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit (EFSA) hat eine EU-weite Grundlagenerhebung zu Listeria durchgeführt. Der erste Teil der Analyse wurde nun veröffentlicht.
Listerien sind Bakterien, die eine Infektion namens Listeriose verursachen können. Diese kann insbesondere für Schwangere und Menschen mit geschwächtem Immunsystem gefährlich sein.
